A new highlight at Lake Garda: the walking/cycling path. This extraordinary work allows you to discover on foot and by bike a stretch of lake that would otherwise be inaccessible. The new section of the walking/cycling path was opened on 14 July 2018. Starting from Limone sul Garda, it leads to the border of the Autonomous Province of Trento. The walking/cycling path is built on a spectacular structure of steel posts and wooden panels. Many call it "the most beautiful cycle path in Europe" as it offers a spectacular view from a unique perspective. It is not only suitable for cycling on Lake Garda, but also for walking. The easy bike path along Lake Garda is accessible for everyone and is about 4 km long. Thanks to an LED lighting system, it can also be used at night. Hire a bikeat Lake Garda and start exploring.

The new section of the walking/cycling path is part of the "Garda by Bike" project: In the future, the entire Lake Garda can be circumnavigated for a total of 190 km by bike –completely separated from car traffic.
